Sponsored Swim

Frome Netball Club entered a team into the annual Frome Lions Club Sponsored Swim. This was an opportunity for the club to raise money for the netball club and a charity chosen by the Lions Club: Active and In Touch.

A team of 6 swimmers: Aisling, Alice, Flo, Kirsty, Nat and Tavia took to the pool and swam an amazing 114 lengths. Once the results were in, Frome were announced as the team that had swam the most lengths by a non-swimming club team. They will pick up the trophy at the presentation evening on Wednesday 24th March.

Charity Netball Tournament 

Sunday 26th March 2023

Frome's 3rd Team Hearts organised the annual Charity Tournament raising money for the club and a charity of their choice. This year's charity was Harry's Hydro which is a local charity based in Frome. 

The day involved 11 teams that were a mix of men and women taking to the courts for a fun filled day of netball and laughter. 

The teams were spilt in 2 groups and were hoping to reach the top spot to reach the final. 

Costal and Team Rangers finished top of their groups and played out a fantastic end to end game, but nothing could spilt them at the final whistle drawing 6-6. Both team were happy to be announced joint winners of the tournament.
